No need to be a contortionist, BackBliss will reach the remotest areas. I bought a DOUBLE and use the second one as a back scratcher. A quick rinse under warm water and a squeeze and the pads will stay as good as new.

I have been using the back bliss applicator on a daily basis for at least 6 years as I suffer from eczema on my back. The foam applicator is well designed and doesn’t absorb my cream but rather helps to spread it around. The foam pad lasts for ages and doesn’t peel off during use, even after washing.The handle is the right length to reach all parts if my back without being too cumbersome. The handle is quite sturdy but tends to crack and eventually break in the middle but this only happens after roughly 2 years of daily use.

I bought this for my Mum who suffers with terrible arthritis and has trouble reaching her feet, it’s absolutely brilliant, she can now put cream on her legs and feet whenever she wants to and doesn’t have to rely on anyone else.

I have had about 5 Back Bliss, they do their job really well and I’ve had great use from them – however they all break in exactly the same place just where the textured area meets the smooth area on the handle. If there was an alternative on the mark

I have owned two of these for some years and have finally had to replace them. They are such a simple but effective design. I use one for sunscreen, and one for body lotion/tan accelerator etc. They are easy to wash, and the slightly curved handle is perfect for reaching the back and sides. Would thoroughly recommend.

This is without doubt the best device I have tried for applying any kind of lotion or cream. As long as you wash the foam part regularly, it lasts ages, and doesn’t fall apart like so many others. Highly recommended. The replacement heads fit perfectly and stay stuck!

Having struggled to reach all areas of my back to apply body lotion this product is incredible. The sponge never feels greasy and is so easy to wash, dries quickly for reapplication. After booking my first holiday as a singleton, I quickly realised going to a sunny climate I was running the risk of a brown tanned front and a red back, having read recent reviews I decided to take the plunge and sent for the double pack. I was not disappointed and having a trial run I can say honestly it all went smoothly (on my back that is) and now having the double pack I can put tanning lotion on with one and then aftersun with the other….I have already passed this news onto family and friends…problem solved….

There’s never going to be a perfect lotion/cream applicator for backs until you can miraculously see what you’re doing! However this come closer than most. The small head (in comparison to another popular brand which is circular and 9cm in diameter) is flexible and has a spongy texture makes easy to feel where you are applying the cream, and it moves easily around the contours of shoulder blades etc. The wide handle with the “bobbly” bits is much easier to hold with my arthritic hands than my old applicator which is pretty similar to a bath brush in design. My one complaint is the handle is a bit too short, meaning I have to keep switching from upward to downward motion (arthritic shoulders!), just another 2 or 3 cm would be good.

The previous one, which is advertised everywhere had sharp raised plastic edges and roller balls that wouldnt roll properly. It didnt undulate to the shape of your back, and didnt do the job it was meant to do. The pharmacy ended up having to give me my money back. Don’t waste your time buying that one, buy this one instead. I have been using my BackBliss for a month now, and I couldnt be happier. Its simple design hides what a great product it actually is and why it works so well. Im smitten!!

Hi, I think this is a great idea of yours. Unfortunately I am unable to get my arms around my back, so for me as much as I like it, the handle is far too short. I would think another three to four inches would be perfect.

I had one of these years ago and it broke. I wish I’d replaced it sooner as I could have used it on holiday. It’s great for lotion, aftersun and once your home mosturiser. It helps to spread lotion evenly and doesn’t leave too much excess cream that your clothes stick to you. Great product.

I used these to apply sun tan lotion whilst on a girls weekend away. My friend looked sceptical when she saw me using the mitts but when she tried them she was hooked. Its much easier to apply lotion , the mitts are cleverly designed to be really soft on the skin and they cover a wider area. Than using your hands. Less messy too. So much nicer than hot hands on sunburned skin! Too! So When I got home I bought another pair for my friend so she can use with her kids suntan lotion over the summer.

This is a really good applicator for emollients, the pad is just the right consistency and thickness, it doesn’t soak up all the cream and allows it to be spread and massaged in quite easily and washes easily afterwards. Having used it daily for nearly a week, so far I haven’t needed to replace the pad, simply washed off the residual emollient and hung to dry after each use.There are two things that would give it 5 stars – a longer handle and a rounder end to the handle to aid grip – the end of the handle tends to slide slightly in the hand and a more tubular end might allow a firmer grip. The suction hook is a nice idea but unfortunately I cannot get it to stay stuck in place for longer than 24 hrs. It arrived the day after I ordered it which was great.
